About

I’m a travel-loving gal living it big in the world. Keeping a blog mostly to make sure Mom and Dad know we’re still ok. Lots of love, adventures, and mind-blowing experiences to share with anybody and everybody who wants to know more about living in a different culture.

All the adventures in Japan are thanks to the JET Program (Japan Exchange and Teaching) which is one of the most supportive, wonderful, and all-around extraordinary programs that connects people around the globe and fosters internationalism.

Mark is my partner in crime on this journey. After I was accepted into the JET program, we both packed up from the States and settled into inaka life in Nagasaki Prefecture. We are high school sweethearts and already fitting the bill for those old married folks at the ripe age of 23.

One big kanpai to our year in Japan!
